Martina Franca, Ostuni, Locorotondo, Polignano a mare, Monopoli, Bari, Lecce with its Baroque, Trani with its Cathedral, Castel del Monte – a 13th-century fortress built by the Holy Roman Emperor, Frederick II, located within the Alta Murgia National Park. It is a unique monument and among the most famous and most visited in Apulia.
The Apulia Sea consist of 800 kilometres of bending coastline that incorporates two seas: the Adriatic and the Ionian. The winds will indicate to you whether which coast to explore on any given day. The coastline offers you enjoyable days among sheer cliffs, crystal-clear waters, white sand beaches, and hidden coves.
We heartily recommend horse rides on the beach, boat trips, snorkelling, kayaking, stand-up paddle, surfing or just relaxing and sun-bathing.
This is a destination that offers authentic, old-fashioned experiences that will fill your heart and the eyes of children and adults with joy. The farm with its goats, donkeys, rabbits, ducks and chickens offers you the magic feeling of being in touch with the animals every day. One remains enchanted, to say the least, by the wonderful Arabian horses that roam freely and joyfully in the stables. Much appreciated by our young guests is the pony ride or spending time in the orchards and vineyards where you can harvest the fruits and vegetables that the bio-dynamic garden offers and you can also collect fresh egg for your own enjoyment.
For the sophisticated there are dedicated experiences such as “Chef in Trullo”, to taste local specialities in your own villa, in which a local chef will pamper you by preparing and serving a delicious dinner in the most authentic Apulian tradition. Not to be missed are the “Breakfast and Aperitif in the meadow” served by the Borgo’s team with a delightful food truck immersed in the greenery offering you the creative workshop with cooking classes.
And for the sporty spirits? From the real grass football/soccer field to the currently under construction tennis court. From cycling excursions on the many countryside paths or jogging among the olive trees admiring the colour breathtaking sunsets and sounds and fragrances o nature.
